Rainy day...but who noticed?

Thursday's third-graders were awesome to hang out with! I could not believe that I did not hear a single complaint about the weather, but instead heard screams of enjoyment at the things they were learning. I really did have a wonderful time hiking and playing mayhem with them. Surprisingly, I think this day was my favorite day so far because everyone kept their spirits high, even though the weather could have prevented us from having such a spectacular outlook. We ran around, fell down, laid in mud, got dirty, and did not care a bit.

This day Cassie and Jen also found a painted turtle! I loved the little guy, and have really enjoyed seeing them thrive and grow here during the time we've been here.
