Day 8: Chill Day

Today Monday May 19, 2014 we had the pleasure of instructing Warsaw Christian School 5th graders. Today was a "chill" day as Paul described it. There was only going to be one group today since there were only 16 students today. Since our class got to chose what station we wanted to lead I chose to lead the Power Point, Macro-invertebrate Mayhem, and participate in the Scat Rap. The Power Point went really well and didn't have a problem with it. I felt like the students were afraid to answer the question incorrectly. The next activity that I lead was Macro-invertebrate Mayhem was really fun! The students learned about pollution in our water but the low light was that the parents didn't really participate. At the end of the day we ended with a Scat Rap in which I messed up. Paul asked us to ponder about who our favorite super hero was because in the future we will become heroes, parents and many other things as future teachers. 

While typing this blog two Barn Swallows few into the boys dorm and scatted on Jay Bird's laptop.
