7th Graders & Tree Baskets

I was surprised at how well the time time passed on the hike from the Learning Center to Reith Village. I was not sure how the time would pass with the age group and the lack of activities, but all of the students were engaged with the information and tidbits that I was able to tell them. The chaperons were equally engaged and chatty. I stretched myself by taking a trail that I was less confident with but was sure would take me to where I wanted to be. I used it as an exercise to practice being confident on the outside to the students even if my insides were less sure of the divisions in the trail.
